Circle of friends

Always try to help a friend in need

Believe in yourself

Be brave…

but it’s ok to be afraid sometimes

Study hard

Give lots of love

Laugh often

Don’t be overly

concerned with your weight,

 it’s just a number

Always try to see the glass half full

Meet new people,

even if they look different to you

Remain calm,

even when it seems hopeless

Take lots of naps.

Be weird whenever you have the chance

Love your friends,

no matter who they are

Don’t waste food

Take an occasional risk

Try to have a little fun each day.
…it’s important

Work together as a team

Share a joke with friends

Fall in love with someone…

…and say ‘I love you’ often

Express yourself creatively

It was a Sports Stadium.

Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang !!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,

All eight girls started running.

Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,

when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,

Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently

And enquired as to how she was..

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post…….. .

There was pin drop silence at the spectator’s stand.

Officials were shocked.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears

And perhaps even God’s!

YES.!! This happened in Hyderabad [INDIA], recently!

The sport was conducted by
National Institute of Mental Health.

All these special girls had come to participate in this event

They were spastic children.

Yes, they were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD.?

Equality among all.??

Successful people help others who are
slow in learning

So that they are not left far behind.

This is really a great message… Spread it.!

We never do this because we have brains !!!!

I knew you would come

Man…I knew you would come!

Horror gripped the heart of a World War-I soldier, as he saw his lifelong friend fall in battle. The soldier asked his Lieutenant if he could go out to bring his fallen comrade back.

“You can go,” said the Lieutenant, “but don’t think it will be worth it. Your friend is probably dead and you may throw your life away.”

The Lieutenant’s words didn’t matter, and the soldier went anyway. Miraculously, he managed to reach his friend, hoisted him onto his shoulder and brought him back to their company’s trench. The officer checked the wounded soldier, and then looked kindly at his friend.

” I told you it wouldn’t be worth it,” he said. “Your friend is dead and you are mortally wounded.”
“It was worth it, Sir,” said the soldier.
“What do you mean by worth it?” responded the Lieutenant, “Your friend is dead.”
“Yes Sir,” the soldier answered, “but it was worth it because when I got to him, he was still alive and I had the satisfaction of hearing him say…….

“Man…I knew you would come!”

Making Others Happy

Making Others Happy

Read this to change your thinking.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and colour of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every colour and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene. One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man could not hear the band – he could see it in his mind’s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, ‘perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.’

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can’t buy.

‘Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present.’

Two Friends

Two Friends

Two friends were walking through the desert
During some point of the
Journey they had an argument,

and one friend slapped

the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt,

but without saying anything,
wrote in the sand:

They kept on walking until they found an oasis,
where they decided to take a bath.
The one who had been slapped got stuck in the
mire and started drowning,

but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near drowning,
he wrote on a stone:

The friend who had slapped and

saved his best friend asked him,

“After I hurt you,

you wrote in the sand and now,
you write on a stone, why?”
The other friend replied,
“When someone hurts us we should write it down
in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away.
But, when someone does something good for us,
we must engrave it in stone where no wind
can ever erase it.”

They say it takes a minute to find a special
person, an hour to appreciate them, a day
to love them, but then an entire life
to forget them.

Take the time to live!

Do not value the THINGS
you have in your life. But value
WHO you have in your life!

” Happiness is not something you find,

 it’s something you create

Have a Nice Day….
