‘Faster’ or ‘fast’

WHICH is correct?

 ‘Faster’ or ‘fast’?

1) Quick! Go get it! or Quickly! Go get it!

(Do we say quickly or quick?)

 We usually say:

 “Quick! Go get it!”,

where “Quick” can mean “Be quick!” or “Act quickly!”

2) (Fast/Faster)! We’re going to be late!

We say “Faster! We’re going to be late!”.

We never say “Fast!” in this context, where I imagine the speaker asking her companion to walk/drive/cycle faster than he already is doing because they may otherwise be late for a class, a film, etc.
